The Pantone International Color Institute has unveiled the main color of 2023. He became Viva Magenta 18-1750 – a rich red that attracts with its magnetism. This shade is described as an unconventional red for an unconventional time.

The Color Institute says that this shade is strong, bold. He brings something alive to the world of technology. That is why it is ideal for modern people.

Pantone executive director Leatrice Esman noted that the Color Institute calls this shade “a fist in a velvet mitten.” After all, he is very assertive, but restrained and not aggressive. It seems to fascinate, calls to join the forces of nature, connects a person with the initial matter. At the same time, color is able to energize and make us stronger from the inside.

In 2022, the Pantone Color Institute named Very Peri as its top color, which was both strong and delicate.
