Latvian singing legend Laima Vaikule will play a show in the Windy City

Laima Vaikule show "Rendezvous" will take place February 13 at the Copernicus Center venue in Chicago as part of a North American tour, according to organizers, giving an America audience a chance to hear one of the most instantly recognizable Latvian voices.

The concert is being organized by Resilience Entertainment which has also been organizing concerts for Ukrainian artists in North America. In 2022 year Resilience Entertainment donated over $500,000 to Ukraine relief funds and NGOs and in 2023 generated more than $350,000 for Ukrainian NGOs, the company stated.
