- Tell us about yourself. What does your company do?
I was born in Ukraine and immigrated to the United States in 1992 at the age of 14 with my family. I am an entrepreneur, businessman, and media personality. Most of my businesses have been in and around media, broadcasting, publishing and show business. My company Resilience Entertainment Group produces and promotes the majority of Ukrainian, (and some from from the former Soviet Union), A-list as well as up-and-coming artists’ concert tours in North America since early 2000. We operate in 35 cities across North America with 45+ artists and bands.
- What kind of concerts do you organize?
We work with artists from multiple genres, including pop, rock, dance, folklore, theater, and visual arts. Our events span from intimate small venues to Madison Square Garden. We handle all legal, organizational, logistical, touring, technical, marketing, promoting, and ticket sales in-house. With some of the artists we work with, we can put together 20-city tours across US and Canada, that take close to one month to complete. We have done a number of these large tours over the past 5 years, and we handle it with our small team of dedicated people.
In the past two years, all 200+ shows put together were charity for Ukraine tours and concerts. We were able to donate over $500,000 + from these shows ourselves, as well as a lot more from direct donations, where people would donate individually via a QR code to the NGOs we partnered with.
- With which artists do you work? How do you choose them?
Most A-list artists choose to work with us for extended periods exclusively, as they have a high level of confidence and trust with us built over many successful years. We are very active in monitoring and meeting new and up-and-coming artists as well, sometimes we make decisions 2-3 years in advance and work on building the foundation for successful concerts down the road for new artists. Ukraine has always been a very — fruitful land for music and art talent, and if there is any way for us to contribute to the artist’s success abroad — we are thrilled to be a part of it. Over the years we have had the privilege to work with now-President Volodymyr Zelensky before his presidency for several tours of (Kvartal 95) in the US as well as notable Ukrainian artists such as Okean Elzy, Monatik, Tina Karol, Boombox, Kalush Orchestra, Nastya Kamenskih, The Hardkiss and many more.
- Tell us about the upcoming tours in New York, which we don’t have to miss?
