Ukrainian band Tvorchi presented the fifth full-length album “Planet X”
Ukrainian band Tvorchi presented the fifth full-length album “Planet X”, which contains 14 tracks, 3 collaborations with Ukrainian artists and emotions from everything experienced recently.
The popular group TVORCHI, which represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2023, released a new, fifth full-length album “Planet X”.
TVORCHI worked on the new album for more than three years: they started even before the full-scale invasion, and finished not so long ago, already after their participation in Eurovision and many events that changed life in Ukraine.
All the contrast of these periods and all the emotions of the experienced Andrii Hutsuliak and Jeffrey Kenny put into the album “Planet X”, which is called a mystical thriller with a futuristic sound.
This is our most iconic release in the entire existence of the band. It is full of mysteries, futuristic and even a little apocalyptic, because no one knows what will happen next. The last song of the album is called “Is It Over”, which means “Is it the end”. A rhetorical question that everyone asks themselves today. It's about the inner state: you struggle, you look for motivation, you try to live, and no one knows what will happen next with this world. Each song here touches on various topics and feelings that are close to us today and those that have remained in the past, TVORCHI members share.
The artists admitted that they were inspired to write the album by the first part of the cult saga “Dune”, the game “Cyberpunk” and the movie “The Fifth Element”. The band's new musical story unfolds on an unknown planet somewhere in distant space, where each song is a new episode describing life here.
In addition to the electronic duet's solo songs, the album also includes joint tracks with notable Ukrainian artists such as Klavdia Petrivna, The HARDKISS and The Maneken.
