Gordon's early life in Kyiv laid the foundation for his diverse career. Despite graduating from Kiev Civil Engineering Institute in 1988, his true passion lay in journalism and the arts.

A Flourishing Journalism Career

Gordon's journey in journalism began earnestly during his college years. Since 1995, he has been the editor-in-chief of his own newspaper, "Boulevard," later renamed "Gordon Boulevard." This newspaper became highly popular in Ukraine and beyond, with a readership exceeding 2.5 million people. Gordon's work extended to television as well, where he hosted and authored the TV program "Visiting Dmitry Gordon" since 2000, featuring interviews with over 500 celebrities, including Mikhail Gorbachev and Nikita Mikhalkov.

Gordon's political endeavors are notable. He was a member of the Kyiv City Council from 2014 to 2016. In June 2019, he took on the role of head of the election headquarters for the Ukrainian political party Strength and Honor, showcasing his involvement in the political sphere.
