Raised primarily by her maternal grandmother while her mother attended medical school, Polyakova showed an early interest in music. Despite her family's wishes for her to pursue a medical career, she followed her passion for music, attending the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts and the Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, where she trained as an opera singer.

Rise to Fame

Polyakova's journey to stardom began with her modeling career. Later, she ventured into music and collaborated with Denis Klyaver on the song "Hug Me". This collaboration marked the start of her rise in the music industry. She returned to Ukraine, where she met Lyubasha, and together, they recorded a joint album released in 2005.

The Super Blonde Persona

In 2008, Polyakova embraced the "Super Blonde" persona with the release of her maxi-single "Super Blonde". This new image, characterized by short, doll-like dresses and bold makeup, became her signature style and was well-received by fans. Her use of the kokoshnik, a traditional Russian headdress, from 2012 onwards became an iconic part of her image. Each kokoshnik is uniquely designed, often adorned with rhinestones, feathers, and crystals.

Throughout her career, Polyakova has collaborated with various artists, including a notable partnership with Ukrainian pop star Lyudmila Gurchenko, resulting in the hit "Hello".
